Alesia Pratt is a Louisiana-based artist and photographer who splits her time between capturing real-life moments and teaching. She works full-time as an art teacher and photographs seasonal portraits and events in the spaces between. A lifelong illustrator, she picked up photography in 2018 and plans to grow this creative side hustle into a second career in 2025.

She’s especially drawn to candid moments, community sports, and any story that doesn’t need to pose to be powerful. Lately, she’s diving into dramatic sports and team photography, hoping to bring a more cinematic edge to the everyday game.

When she’s not editing photos or lesson planning, she’s probably reorganizing her reference folders or dreaming up her next illustration project—which is definitely (probably!) coming soon.
